The Visual Arts Committee (VAC) of Orcas Center welcomes artists who use discarded or found materials to participate in our next community show: The Art of Recycling!
Wall art, 3-dimensional work, and wearable fashion will all be welcomed. For 2d and 3d (non-wearable) art simply come to intake day on Wednesday, August 30 from 10:15 a.m. – 12 p.m. to drop off your work for installation.
There will be a fashion show featuring recycled wearable art during the opening on September 1. If you’re interested in participating in the fashion show, please contact us as soon as possible so we can appropriately plan – Deadline for registering for the fashion show is August 1.
The Art of Recycling will run at Orcas Center from September 1 through October 18. For more information contact Zoe and Marjorie at vac@orcascenter.org.
