Tuesday, July 17, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Knapp Farm

— from Caroline Buchanan —

Next Tuesday, July 17, is the last in the series of Caroline Buchanan’s one-day summer watercolor workshops. She will teach/review steps for successful on-location painting — how to choose from the myriad of subjects, how to plan, and how to approach and complete the painting.

The workshop is at Knapp’s farm on Buckhorn Road, one of the oldest farms on the island. In this delightful location there are many appealing subjects besides the buildings.

To learn more go to www.buchananwatercolors.com/. On her website is a discussion of organizing your supplies, one of the most important aspects to plein air painting when you intend to be in one location for the outing. Class time is 9:30-3:30. Questions? call Caroline at 360-376-5509 or email watercolors@rockisland.com.
