Join us for a delightful twist on a classic game at the Orcas Senior Center’s annual fundraiser, Let’s Brunch!, on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Introducing the Botanical Boogie—a plant-powered version of the traditional cake walk, where the sweet rewards are vibrant, locally grown plants!
Instead of circling for confections, participants will promenade to lively tunes around a path of numbered spots. When the music halts, a number is drawn, and the lucky individual standing on that spot wins a beautiful, locally grown plant. These green treasures are lovingly cultivated by The Little Farm on Olga Road, known for their vibrant flowers and sustainable practices.
Whether you’re a seasoned plant parent or a budding green thumb, the Botanical Boogie offers a chance to grow your garden and support a great cause. All proceeds benefit the Orcas Senior Center and their wide array of program and services providing enrichment and engagement for all members of our island community.
