The watercolors of Betty Reynolds will be on exhibit in the Orcas Island Library during the month of May.
Betty is the author/ artist of five illustrated books about Japan and two about Orcas Island. She left her career as an advertising art director in Philadelphia to accompany her husband, Frank Maher
to Singapore and then Tokyo, where they lived for seven years. While there, she became an author.
After Frank’s retirement they discovered Orcas Island, where they have resided ever since. Her show consists of many paintings portraying the animals, foods, events and locations that she enjoys here.
Betty is honored to be “Miss May.” Please stop in and see her work!
