May 14, at 7p.m. at Buck Park

Orcas Island Fire and Rescue District will host a Firefighters vs. EMTs Softball Challenge to benefit Oso firefighter Seth Jerreds who lost his wife (Christina Jefferds), his granddaughter (Sinoah Huestis), his home and his dog in the Oso mudslide. The goal is to collect funds so he can purchase a home.

Hot dogs, burgers, sodas, and chips will be sold at the game. 100% of proceeds are for the Seth Jefferds Firefighter Fund.

Please join us for an evening of fun, food, and laughs at Buck Park at field 2.

The Darrington Volunteer Firefighter’s Association donated $1000.00 that will be placed in an account at Coastal Community Bank. 100% of donations will go directly to Seth and the account will be closed when we meet our goal [$250,000]. Those wishing to help may send donations to Coastal Community Bank to the “Jefferds Firefighter Fund.”

Checks may be mailed to:
Darrington Volunteer Firefighters Association
PO Box 1238
Darrington, WA 98241
Please make checks payable to DVFA with a memo that it should be paid to the “Jefferds Firefighter Fund.”
