Ever since I can remember, I’ve been distressed when newly fallen snow becomes victim to humanity. I don’t even like snow people. There is nothing more beautiful to me than that quiet white blanket before anyone (little brothers, perhaps) who can’t wait to get out there and play in it.

As a young girl, I was pretty much not allowed to be out and about on my own, and so I was perfectly content to let the snow fall as it may.

All of that was brought home to me when I received a treasure trove of undisturbed snow scenes on Orcas from our Sun Days on Orcas columnist, Edee Kulper. She nailed it!
