On February 21, 2019, Danyel White, age 30, of Eastsound, Washington was found dead in her home. An investigation was conducted by the Sheriff’s Office, and the Coroner Randall Gaylord, requested an autopsy by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner with an analysis of toxicology.
The toxicology results are now known, and Mr. Gaylord reported that Ms. White died of acute ethanol intoxication, and that the manner of death is determined to be an accident.
Investigators were aware that Ms. White sustained injuries about six weeks prior to her death as the result of a physical assault. Based upon the information provided from the autopsy, Mr. Gaylord, was able to conclude that those injuries did not contribute to her death.
