The Economic Development Council (EDC) of San Juan County will offer an Introduction to Automotive Technology Course as part of their Trades Training Initiative. This course is open to participants from San Juan County, ages 18 and over, who plan to use automotive maintenance or repair skills for paying work.   

The upcoming course will provide an overview of basic automotive systems, tools, and shop safety. Students will gain hands-on experience in changing oil, checking fluids, rotating tires, battery maintenance, jump starting, and basic diagnostics.  

Details: The course will be held Saturday, November 5, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the Fellow Shop in Friday Harbor. The course is free except for a $20.00 registration fee. Space is limited.
