Actors Theater of Orcas Island announces auditions for its Winter/Holiday play, “Winds In the Morning,” an historical musical play set in 1890s Port Townsend, and written by local playwright Richard Carter.
It is a touching family story featuring traditional music such as sea shanties, Irish songs, and tunes. Actors should be comfortable singing simple songs on stage.
It will be performed the first two weekends in December. Actors needed:
- A woman and a man, age 30-50
- A girl, age 13-16
- Two adult men
Auditions will be held Sunday, September 29 and Wednesday, October 2, 6 p.m. at the Grange
