Everyone is invited to the Orcas Island Artworks and Catkin Cafe Strawberry Festival and Ice Cream Social on Sunday, June 19 from 1 to 3.
There will be free ice cream, lemonade, artist demonstrations, face painting and live music, with strawberry themed artwork and food.
This free event will launch the Artworks’ new sculpture garden on the porch and west lawn, which will feature works by Orcas Island’s many sculptors. Current exhibitors include B.J. Arnold, David Haslett, Todd Spalti and Pete Welty.
The Artworks is open daily from 10 to 5. For more information call 376-4408.
