Drew Dillhunt to read at Artsmith Salon

Poet Drew Dillhunt will read his work at the Artsmith Salon Series Monday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at FIRE Smokehouse and Grill.

Dillhunt, who lives in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle, is returning to read at the Artsmith Salon Series after a popular reading last year. He’s the author of the chapbook 3,068,518 (Mudlark No. 39) and co-author, with his father, CX, of the chapbook Double Six (Endeavor, 1994). His writing has appeared in Eclectica, Hummingbird: Magazine of the Short Poem, Pitkin Review, Tarpaulin Sky, and Jacket. His manuscript, Materials Science, was selected as a finalist for the 2009 National Poetry Series. Drew has released two albums of songs, including one with the band Fighting Shy, and is a member of the art-music collaborative The Blank Department.

As always, the salon will include an open mic session inviting readings of original work from writers of all levels.
