In recognition of Poetry Month, and to celebrate our treasure trove of Orcas Island poets, Orcas Issues is pleased and honored to offer daily poetry during April.
Gothozoic, Period
Her poetry is
paleoskinlithic
blacken feels the words
read up her sad darkness
wet raven oil soak scent
merry-go-rounds the air
chrome stud collar age of teen
may this this may take a while
walls of her night hold up their part
wait
I wait
with patience
for her aurora to borealus
