I am starting a Toni Morrison reading group in November, probably on Wednesdays. We will meet once a month at the library. Our goal is to read and discuss all of her novels as well as some of her essays. The format of each meeting will be fairly open. I’m not an English teacher, just a person who loves to read deeply.
I was in a group led by a librarian at the Folio library in Seattle in which we read each novel, in the order they were published, one a month. It was one of the most significant learning experience I’ve had in my life.
