Lopez friends: Dan is also headed your way. Dan will be playing at the Lopez Island Grange on Friday, February 1 at 7 p.m. Orcas songwriter Mandy Troxel will open.

Dan Weber is an engaging performer with a gift for storytelling. He won the prestigious Winfield ‘NewSong’ contest for ‘Oh Woody’, his tribute to Woody Guthrie, and is a rare three-time finalist in the legendary Kerrville ‘New Folk’ competition.

A former National Park Service Ranger, his songs have been described as “reminiscent of early John Prine” and “insightful and awfully funny.” Legendary Folk troubadour Ramblin’ Jack Elliott said “I love Dan’s songs and he tells really good stories.” Born in Rochester, NY, he now lives in Vancouver, WA.
