||| FROM THE OFFICE OF GOVERNOR JAY INSLEE |||

Gov. Jay Inslee will meet with state agency leaders on Wednesday, July 28, to hear about how state agencies are working toward ensuring digital equity and digital inclusion. This meeting will include hearing from community partners and listening to customer experiences with state government websites and online forms. Conversation will be around a project to create agency standards for digital equity and digital inclusion. This includes developing best practice guidelines by 2022 for state government websites and online forms to be compatible with mobile devices.

The governor will be joined by customers and state agencies, including Neighborhood House, Department of Commerce, Department of Social and Health Services, and the Employment Security Department.

Inslee established Results Washington in 2013. The agency’s mission is to improve state government by approaching complex issues through collaboration, performance management and continuous improvement. This project is part of Results Washington’s updated Public Performance Review process.

TVW plans to live-stream the meeting, starting around 1 p.m.
