Calling all Beatles fans and fanatics! Come feast your ears and dine on the raw and spirited covers of Abbey Road LIVE!, returning to Orcas Center the first of the month at 7:30pm, on our Outdoor Stage! Exclamation necessary for the opportunity to get down with friends and the sun on the lawn. There will be food trucks and drink carts available. Choice beer and wine by Doe Bay Winery.
Since 2002, Abbey Road LIVE! has been rocking the music of The Beatles. Initially a tribute to the monumental “Abbey Road” album, the band has expanded its repertoire to include more than 150 Beatles tunes, from all eras of the Fab Four’s career.
This is not your typical Beatles look-alike tribute act; don’t expect mop-top haircuts and fake accents. Rather, Abbey Road LIVE! is about bringing to life some of the more composite Beatles material in a fresh & feisty fashion, while remaining true to the original recordings. Combining attention to detail with a creative exuberance, the band always delights its audiences with its diverse repertoire of hits and more obscure favorites.
Tickets for Abbey Road LIVE! $20, $21 for students, $3 off for Orcas Center members, and may be purchased at www.orcascenter.org or by calling 376-2281 ext. 1 or visiting the Orcas Center Box Office open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12-3 p.m. $5 subsidized tickets available at the Box Office.
