Orcas Dance Club at the Odd Fellows Hall, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Singles, doubles, couples, all ages….come one and all. Potluck refreshments. It will be a CD party; bring a favorite or two. [intlink id=”8407″ type=”post”]OPALCO Annual Meeting[/intlink] on board the ferry, meeting is from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. Register at the Orcas Landing at 8 a.m. and return to Orcas at 11:40 a.m. Breakfast will be served.

Sustainable Living Fair at the Village Green in Eastsound from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by field trips on Sunday. Admission to the fair is free; field trip fees vary from free to affordable. A highlight of the Fair will be honoring this year’s recipients of the “Finnies,” the Good Steward Awards. In case of rain, the Fair will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall. [intlink id=”8508″ type=”post”]Colorado acoustic band Taarka [/intlink]at the Odd Fellows Hall at 8 p.m. Taarka performs an engaging mix of Western and Eastern folk traditions of jazz, rock, bluegrass, old-time, gypsy, Indian, and Celtic music. Taarka hails from Lyons, CO and have performed at such music festivals as Telluride Bluegrass, Bumbershoot, and Seattle Folklife. Tickets available at the door for $10.
