Beautiful flower arrangements will be created at a Floral Workshop on March 18.

If you’d like to learn how to create beautiful floral arrangements, there’s a workshop you won’t want to miss. Professional flower arranger Rosemarie Altberg will lead “Fun with Flowers” on Thursday, March 18th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  at the Eastsound Fire Hall.  You’re invited for coffee and conversation beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Participants should bring a 7” to 12” container in order to take home your own special arrangement.  The Garden Club is supplying the flowers and floral supplies you’ll need.  In addition to Altberg, Emily Reid and other island designers will share their expertise.

It is hoped a community of flower arrangers will develop, and that many will become part of the wonderful group of volunteers for the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival.

Tuition is $5 and class size is limited to 30 people. To register, please call the Chamber Music Festival Office at 376-6636.
