School announces two-hour late start on Monday

Due to inclement weather, road conditions, and predicted cold temperatures overnight, all OISD schools on Orcas Island (this excludes Waldron) will open two hours late on Monday, January 13.

School buses will run approximately two hours late and on Snow Routes.

If you feel it is unsafe to venture out on the roads with your child, we as a district support that. Ultimately, our number one priority is the safety of our students, their families, and our staff.
