Utility crews will finish installing conduit and various cables on the permanent concrete bridge. The general contractor will install wood safety railing along the length of the bridge and construct the new Channel Road alignment grade.
In addition, crews will place rocks along the bridge footings to form a protective barrier called scour protection, which helps to lessen the effects of erosion caused by waves.
