— from David Adrian —
Recently, when I learned of the death of my father in Florida, I knew I would not be financially able to fly down there to attend his services. I was totally blown away when fellow patrons at The Lower Tavern kicked in and presented me with not only an airline ticket, but also with a suit, a bag, and pocket money so that I could make the trip.
Thanks to all for your love and support, making it possible for me attend my pop’s funeral in Florida. I could not have gone without this amazing assistance. Thanks for helping me to stand tall.

This is what is so great about this island. People reach out to help others so often. It is one of the qualities that make this place so special. It’s the people!
Love this about the island.
