15-007439 Theft 07:59:54 12/30/15
A Lopez Island deputy took a report from the post office of several parcel thefts that had occurred around Christmas. Empty packaging had been turned into the post office after it was discovered discarded at a local park. The matter remains under investigation.
15-007443 Wanted Person 11:49:41 12/30/15
Deputies on patrol identified a subject in the Friday Harbor area who had an outstanding felony warrant. The subject was arrested and booked into the San Juan County Jail without incident.
15-007453 Area Check 16:58:15 12/30/15
A Deputy responded for an area check on 12/30/15 after a Lopez Island resident reported hearing a woman yelling in the vicinity of Shark reef Road. The Deputy determined that the woman who was yelling was actually calling for her dog and that no one was in distress. No further action was required.
15-007454 Assault – Body Force 17:44:10 12/30/15
Deputies responded to a bar in Friday Harbor to deal with an intoxicated male. The male had assaulted a customer and left prior to Deputies arriving. Deputies located the male in the area of Spring and Price Street. The suspect assaulted both officers during the arrest. The suspect is being held on multiple charges.
15-007456 Trouble Unknown 20:58:36 12/30/15
A Deputy responded to a Lopez island residence on 12/30/15 regarding a trouble unknown complaint. The Deputy determined that the home owner unintentionally dialed 911. No further action was required.

15-007466 Traffic Stop 12:09:43 12/31/15
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle because the driver was not wearing the safety belt. The traffic stop occurred in the Town of Friday Harbor. The driver was subsequently arrested and booked on the charge of driving while license suspended in the third degree.
15-007467 Citizen Dispute 12:27:33 12/31/15
An Orcas resident met me at the Substation and requested report for verbal threats received over a civil matter. The Reporting person did not request any further investigation at this time.
15-007470 Disorderly Conduct 12:57:00 12/31/15
Lopez deputies were dispatched to the ferry landing for a disruptive ferry passenger. The subject was gone on arrival and not located.
15-007481 Wanted Person 19:28:19 12/31/15
Deputies arrested a male subject on San Juan Island pursuant to an arrest warrant. the male subject attempted to flee out the back of the property and deputies placed him under arrest.
15-007483 Attempted Suicide 19:39:48 12/31/15
A Lopez Island deputy and Lopez Island EMS responded to a reported suicide attempt. After agreeing to a safety plan, the person was left in the care of family members.
15-007494 Traffic Stop 21:32:49 12/31/15
A Deputy stopped a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign and subsequently arrested the driver for DUI. The vehicle was impounded for the mandatory 12 hours after a DUI arrest and the driver was later released with a notice to appear in court.
15-007501 Noise Complaint /not dogs 22:48:31 12/31/15
Deputies responded to a noise complaint in Friday Harbor, which turned out to be a juvenile drinking party. Seven persons were arrested and charged with minor possessing/consuming alcohol and one was charged with furnishing. All parties were cited and parents contacted.
15-007502 Traffic Stop 23:08:58 12/31/15
A SJC Sheriff Deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was later determined to be driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and or drugs. The driver was arrested, processed and released with a promise to appear in court.

Infraction issued for illegally riding an ATV on a county road, not having turn signals at night, and no insurance.
16-000020 Assault – Body Force 18:48:55 01/01/16
Deputies were dispatched to an argument at a bar in Eastsound. Parties were separated.
16-000022 Domestic Dispute or Assault 21:59:03 01/01/16
Deputy responded to a residence on San Juan Island to investigate a Domestic dispute. The Deputy found that the incident was a verbal dispute only and no further action was taken.

16-000031 Accident-NonInj 18:39:06 01/02/16
A Lopez Island woman misjudged where the driveway entrance was to a local business and ended up stuck in the ditch. A Good Samaritan pulled the vehicle out. There was minor damage to the vehicle. No citation was issued.

16-000033 Overdose 00:47:12 01/03/16
A Lopez Island deputy responded with EMS to a reported intentional prescription drug overdose aboard a moored boat in a Lopez marina. A 40 year old woman was airlifted to a mainland hospital.
16-000039 Theft 13:35:50 01/03/16
A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a reported shoplifting at the Lopez Village Market. The juvenile suspect was identified and located off site. The suspect admitted to the theft and was trespassed from the business.
January 4, 2016
16-000047 Accident-Injury, Traffic 08:31:20 01/04/16
A Lopez deputy responded to a single vehicle rollover collision on Center Road. The juvenile female driver sustained minor injuries. An investigation showed the vehicle encountered ice and slid off the road.
16-000049 Domestic Dispute or Assault 08:53:38 01/04/16
Reporting deputy was dispatched to the Friday Harbor area in reference to a Domestic. The reporting deputy arrived and contacted the involved parties. The incident was found to be verbal in nature. The parties agreed to separate. No enforcement action needed.
16-000057 Malicious Mischief 11:34:00 01/04/16
Reporting deputy was contacted by the caller in reference to a Malicious Mischief which occurred in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting party advised that sometime over the last two weeks, a vehicle was spray painted. Investigation continues.

16-000080 Traffic Enforcement 16:27:05 01/05/16
A Lopez Island woman reported a possible impaired driver travelling northbound on Center Rd, Lopez Island. A deputy located the vehicle parked unoccupied at the ferry landing shortly after the departure of a mainland ferry.
16-000084 Alcohol Offense 18:20:03 01/05/16
SJC Deputies responded to the Orcas Ferry Landing on a reported unwanted person. Contact was made with the suspect. The suspect would not listen to lawful orders given and was arrested for obstructing a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
