Economic Inequality: American Attitudes and Political Responses, will be the next Crossroads lecture on this critical and timely subject. Leslie McCall, Professor of Sociology and Political Science at Northwestern University, will present findings of her research uncovering misconceptions about American attitudes toward income inequality, highlighting policy connections between inequality and opportunity, and inequality as a civil rights issue.
There will be a signing of her book The Undeserving Rich: American Beliefs about Inequality, Opportunity, and Redistribution.
