JoEllen Moldoff, coordinator of the monthly Writers Roundtable, will be the instructor in “The Poetry of Relationships” class that begins on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

The class will read and discuss poetry that addresses the broad theme of relationships—relationships with family, friends, community, place, nature—exploring issues of love and loss, life transitions, connections and reflections.

This class welcomes poets and lovers of poetry, as well as those who are new to poetry, says Moldoff. “We will read poems that are accessible and varied. Issues of craft will be considered.  Participants who wish to write poems will be encouraged to use the material from class for inspiration.”

The class will meet for 8 sessions,  Tuesdays from 1-3 p.m. at the Library, on the following dates:
October 6, 13;
November 3,10,17;
December 1,8,15.

Fee: $10 to cover copying and registration. There is no text. Instructor:
