This Sunday the 29th you’re invited to the Sail Orcas open house. From 2:00PM we will be offering free sailboat rides on our two Cal 20’s Bert and Ernie. These are fun little sloops and we’ll have one of our Adult Instructors take you for a short tour of West Sound. The boat is comfortable with one instructor and 4 passengers. Stop in and we will also show you our new digs provided by the Orcas Island Yacht Club. Call our adult coach Chris White at 360-920-7718 for more information.
Fund Raising Dinner and Silent Auction
Sail Orcas is hosting a fund raising dinner on June 29th from 4:30PM until 8:00PM at the Orcas Island Yacht Club, West Sound. It is only $25 for a Steak or Salmon plate and for the young people just $10 for a hamburger or hot dog plate. There are many items of value being offer by local merchants and the auction minimums start with some big discounts. The proceeds will go to help purchase needed sailing dingies for our various youth sailing programs. Please come join the fun, hear about the High School Sailing Team and help support a very worth cause.
