The Orcas Island Lit Fest is pleased to present the 2024 Lit Walk in Eastsound on Saturday, September 14, 2024. This vibrant, annual (and free!) literary event will feature yet another exciting lineup of local and regional authors, poets, and storytellers at various venues around town.

The first 45-minute session begins at 5pm at The Barnacle, followed by three simultaneous readings at The Barnacle, Cafe Aurora, and the Doe Bay Wine Co. beginning at 6pm. The Walk concludes with a final round at Darvill’s Bookstore starting at 7pm with nationally acclaimed writers Sonora Jha, Kristen Millares Young, and Joshua Mohr.

And if you happen to be in Anacortes on the evening of Friday the 13 th , OILF is collaborating with local venues for the first-ever Anacortes Lit Walk, beginning at 5pm and ending with “An Evening of Songs and Stories” at the Buxton, music by The Last of the Red-Hot Mamas.
