Beyond wearing blue and green, beyond face painting, and beyond window painting and 12th MAN flags, Orcas High School junior Roo Smith recently took his 12th MAN fan-dom above the clouds, to the highest point on Orcas.

Due to the fact that the Seahawks have made the Super Bowl, he decided to make an anthem to get people riled up.

He recently mounted the performance of his video rap, The 12th MAN Anthem, on YouTube. Filmed on Mount Constitution and interspersed with NFL clips, he displays a spirit that many are feeling right now as the Hawks are one week away from playing in the Super Bowl in the Meadowlands.

Roo’s 12th MAN Anthem can be viewed here:

“Everything musical was recorded, mixed and mastered by me,” says Smith, with “filming done by Emma Smith, and some…highlights…from multiple other YouTube videos.”

“A big thanks to Dr. Steve Bailey for letting us use his 12th man flag!” he adds, along with “Let’s go Hawks!”

(Note: Thanks to Bob Phalan for the tip!)

Other fans wanting to show their spirit and enthusiasm are invited to show up for a group photo in the parking of The Lower Tavern on Friday at 12:12 p.m.
